Access and table assessment
We confirm table dimensions, slate count, stairs, turns, parking, destination room and the safest path before lifting begins.

Rails, pockets and cloth
Rails and pocket components are removed methodically. Cloth is released with care when it will be reused, and hardware stays organized for the rebuild.

Slate separated and protected
Each heavy slate section is unfastened and handled separately. This protects the stone, the frame and the property while making tight routes manageable.

Frame checked and levelled
At the destination, we position the cabinet for comfortable play, check the support structure and establish a level foundation before the slate returns.

Reassembly and final finish
Slate is aligned, seams are prepared as required, cloth is tensioned, rails are secured and the surface receives final level checks.

Can you move a slate pool table without taking it apart?
Most slate tables should be disassembled. Moving one intact can stress the frame, damage the slate and make stairs or tight turns unsafe. We separate the major components so they can be protected and controlled.
Do you reassemble and level the table at the new location?
Yes. Complete service can include frame setup, slate placement, alignment, seam preparation, cloth and rail installation, and levelling at the destination.
Can the existing felt be reused?
Often yes, provided it is in good condition and can be released without damage. Older, brittle, heavily stapled or already torn cloth may be better replaced during installation.
Can you move a table from a basement?
Yes. Basement work is common. Photos of the staircase, turns, doorways and route to the truck help us plan the crew and equipment accurately.
Do you move coin-operated pool tables?
Yes. Coin-operated tables have different construction and weight distribution, so they are quoted separately based on model, access and destination requirements.
Do you service snooker tables?
We can assess larger snooker tables, including multi-slate tables. Because their size and construction vary significantly, photos, measurements and access details are required for a quote.
Can you remove an unwanted or damaged table?
Yes. We can dismantle and haul away pool tables that are no longer wanted or practical to repair. Disposal and access conditions affect the final quote.
What information should I send for a quote?
Send photos of the full table, manufacturer label if visible, underside or slate area, pickup and destination access, stairs, and both addresses. Tell us whether you need moving, setup, refelting or removal.
