Before we arrive: drain and disconnect the hot tub
The customer must have the hot tub fully emptied and electrically disconnected before moving day. Gypsee Movers does not drain hot tubs or disconnect electrical wiring. Please arrange this ahead of time, and use a licensed electrician when required.

Before our crew starts, the spa must be drained, power must be disconnected, and covers or loose accessories should be removed. This keeps the move safer and prevents delays on site.

The hot tub is protected with moving pads, stretch wrap and careful handling points to help protect the cabinet, acrylic shell, corners and nearby property during the move.

We place it on the dolly and strap it
Most hot tubs are moved upright or sideways on a specialized spa dolly. We secure the tub to the dolly with straps so the crew can control the load through narrow access points.

The crew moves the hot tub carefully through the planned route, keeping control around siding, fences, gates, landscaping, steps, uneven ground and tight backyard areas.

We load, position and secure it for transport
The tub is loaded onto the trailer, positioned properly and tied down with heavy-duty straps. At delivery, we reverse the process and place the spa where access allows.
