Third-Floor Piano Move With Extra Crew

This Port Stanley piano move required careful planning because the piano had to be delivered to the third floor. Stair moves are one of the most difficult types of piano moving because the weight has to stay controlled at every step while protecting the walls, railing, flooring and piano finish.

Our team brought extra manpower, a piano dolly, lifting straps, moving blankets and stair protection. The piano was secured, balanced and moved slowly through the staircase using controlled lifts instead of rushing the job.

Heavy Baby Grand Piano Relocation

This baby grand piano was moved from London to Stratford and required more than a standard furniture move. Baby grand pianos need proper disassembly, padding and support because the legs, pedals, finish and body can be damaged if the piano is moved without the right process.

We removed the legs, wrapped the piano carefully, transported it safely and carried it through the front porch area with 8 stairs. At delivery, the piano was reassembled and the legs were levelled so it was placed properly inside the home.

This project involved removing a 150-year-old piano from a basement in London. Older pianos can be extremely heavy and fragile, and basement removals often include narrow stairs, sharp turns and limited working space.

Because the piano was being removed for disposal, we carefully disassembled it into manageable sections, protected the property during removal and carried everything out safely. The piano was then taken to the dump as requested.

Basement-to-Basement Piano Move

This piano was transported from a basement in London to another basement in Woodstock. Basement-to-basement piano moving needs proper planning because the hardest parts of the job happen at both pickup and delivery.

We used a special piano dolly, a trained moving crew and a truck with a hydraulic lift gate to reduce risk during loading and transport. The piano was protected, secured and moved carefully into the new basement location.
